Nashville is my home town.  Many of the places I photograph are part of my memory as a boy.  As time goes by,  it has become important to me,  to leave a photographic archive of Nashville.

Because I am shooting so close to home,  I can make the necessary trips to the same location until the image pleases me.  Then I move to the next image.

The image above “Reflections of Glory” represents about three years,  and many trips before all the parts and pieces came together.

Today,  most of my work is shot on 8X10” film.  This process slows me down and forces me to contemplate exactly what I want the image to convey.
